made by amy powers!

The little creature's body is a little lead figure from France. It was headless so she made it a little pumpkin head from clay. The whole thing is only about 2" tall. It was so much fun to make... she is on the hunt for more headless figures to do this to!
Wonderful job, Amy!

ghoul girl

Made by Sasha for Angela... a ghoul who loves a little glamour... and bling! Encased under an orange cloche, she is a dress form with a little skull head sitting upon a pile of bracelets and bling. A vintage millinery flower and feathers adorn the handle.
If you look closely... you will see her handbag, a shoe and a black cat.
Happy Halloween, Angela! Enjoy your zombie in a jar.

questions and answers

Dear Swappers, I've had a couple of questions regarding shipping of our jars. If yours is complete, by all means send it to your partner. There is no harm when swapping to send things along earlier rather than later. The mail system can be fickle and we want to ensure ghoulish goodness arrives in time. That said, I am hoping that jar recipients can hold off posting their goodies on their blogs until October 25th. If your jar arrives before that date, all the more time to photograph it and enjoy it! If you would like to forward me copies of your finished jar before you send it to your partner, by all means do so (I have received some already, they are looking gorgeous) and I will be ready to post teasers and links on this blog on the 25th. I am in the final stages of assembly and will be packaging my jar before the weekend! How goes it for you? xoxo Sasha
